Service Technician

Filtertech/US Centrifuge Inc. is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician who is able to start immediately. This person will join our service team of technicians travelling to customers in order to repair or improve our filtration and/or centrifuge equipment.

Note: A remote home office is possible depending on prospective employee’s home location.

Duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Mechanical/ electrical diagnosis and repair
• Welding/fabrication repairs
• Equipment use training for new customers
• Preparing service summary reports
• Travel within the United States as well as Internationally is an essential feature of this position

This position is salaried and full-time. Typical work week is Monday through Friday with weekends and extra hours as required.

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual with the following characteristics and skills:

• Valid driver’s license (must be NYS enhanced for air travel or standard license and valid passport)
• Current DMV driving abstract provided at time of interview
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• Mechanical and Electrical Diagnostic Skills
• Welding experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers
• Leadership skills and ability to lead a team of helpers
• Comfortable with traveling the country solo and in teams
• Possible international travel after training completed
• Basic Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (Email)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work remote and create expense reports, travel memos, and write emails etc. remotely

Pay: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year D.O.E.
