AutoCAD Drafter /Technical Estimator

Filtertech/US Centrifuge Inc., an established Manlius industrial manufacturing company, seeks a full-time AutoCAD Drafter/Technical Estimator with experience who is able to start immediately. We are seeking individuals with a background in Sales/Engineering/Manufacturing environments who is able to estimate systems and produce sales reference drawings of equipment and systems, piping systems, tanks, catwalks, and support structures for Sales Department proposals.

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual, who is a self-starter and has the following qualifications and skills:

· Knowledge of or background in manufacturing or engineering

· College education required; Associates Degree or higher preferred

· Knowledge of and ability to network with suppliers for securing competitive pricing

· Ability to provide AutoCAD drawings within an allotted time

· Knowledge/skill with AutoCAD 2D

· Knowledge/skill with EXCEL as required for database and estimating purposes

· Knowledge of other Microsoft office products to include: Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

· Having the ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Other Duties and Responsibilities include:

· Research and keep up to date on material costs for Filtertech products. Maintain data bases with up-to-date data regarding cost estimating. Awareness of costing trends. At times estimators may communicate with vendors to ensure accurate material costs.

· Continual communication with estimating manager and sales engineers when costs need updating. Team with individual Sales Engineers to create and update proposals and quotations

Schedule:

· 8-hour shift (8:00am – 4:30pm, Mon-Fri)

Starting salary:

· 40k – 50k annual
