Filtertech is an international producer of liquid filtration, separation and clarification equipment for industrial applications. We supply solutions to many industries such as: wire drawing; aluminum, brass and steel rolling; machining; grinding; optical lens manufacturing; precision glass optics; production glass grinding, coolant disposal systems as well as process and waste water treatment systems.
The firm was established in 1969 as a consultant and designer of liquid filtration systems. Shortly after, Filtertech started manufacturing complete systems in its facility located in Manlius, New York, near Syracuse.
Filtertech provides complete turnkey filtration and waste treatment systems utilizing its complete line of vacuum, gravity and pressure filters, centrifuges, magnetic separators, evaporators, vacuum distillation units, swarf briquetters, and process water treatment systems.
In 1995, Filtertech opened an office in Arizona, to better serve western USA and Mexico. Today, Filtertech has an extensive network of global representatives to assist in evaluating your particular application.
In 2016, Filtertech acquired U.S. Centrifuge, adding a family of high-efficiency centrifuges to our line of equipment.
Filtertech has been servicing our clients for over 50 years, solving difficult process liquid-related filtration problems for multiple industries worldwide.

The primary markets served are: Ferrous and non-ferrous wire drawing; steel, aluminum and brass rolling mills; machine tools; process and waste water applications, optical lens manufacturing, precision optics, and glass fabrication.
Filtertech serves these major markets worldwide: USA, Canada, Mexico, Central/South America, UK, Europe, China and the Pacific Rim.
Facilities
A 50,000 ft² manufacturing facility and 12,000 ft² sales and engineering office complex located in Manlius, New York. Our facility is comprised of:
- A large fabrication area with 25 ft. of head room and 60,000 lbs. of lifting capacity.
- A plasma burning area
- A full machine shop with CNC milling and turning and many conventional machine tools
- A complete electrical and pneumatic control panel shop
- Testing Lab
- Engineering Office
